The Backbox Package will include the following
- 2 Backbox Sides
- 1 DMD/Speaker Panel
- 1 Top
- 1 Bottom
- Rear doors
- 6 90 degree brackets and screws
Step 1
Using a good quality wood glue and The included 90 degree brackets. Attach 1 backbox side to the DMD/Speaker panel using your glue and 1 of the included 90 degree brackets. then repeat the process for the other side top and bottom pieces of backbox. Be sure to use Plenty of good high quality wood glue. Once assembled use a damp cloth and wipe away excess glue. Then strap backbox with a tight strap and let sit 8 hours to overnight for the glue to set
Then assemble bottom panel
Then the same for the top panel
Installing the included Doors are pretty straight forward and there are many hinges available in tons of style and sizes. Here is video by Wayofthewrench installing his doors on our Cabinet.
Installing the upgraded easier to install backbox hatch system
If you have opted to upgrade to our backbox rear hatch system. Start by painting the top and bottom 3 inch cross supports and the main 1/4 inch MDF hatch piece. Attach the 4 90 degree brackets to the end of each 3 inch cross supports. Then attach the 3 inch cross supports to the top and bottom of the back box.
Then attach the rear hatch hinges to the main rear hatch board and then to the backbox at the bottom 3 inch support board.
Then in the final step go ahead and install the camlock
Your Backbox is ready to go.
